Several types of innovation exist and have been studied for decades by many authors, but not many types of innovation are really set up in manufacturing companies operating on a B2B market, and even less the innovation led by users\/clients. As far as we know, the specific features of innovation in such companies have not been studied a lot. The aim of our paper is to analyze the types of innovation which are really set up in a manufacturing company. We also propose a scientific positioning about innovation. An experimental study in an international manufacturing company enables the validation of the pertinence of our approach.<\/p>\n<p><strong>R<\/strong><strong>\u00c9SUM\u00c9. <\/strong>De nos jours, les entreprises doivent innover pour faire face \u00e0 la concurrence. Il existe diff\u00e9rents types d\u2019innovation \u00e9tudi\u00e9s par de nombreux auteurs depuis des ann\u00e9es. Peu de ces types d\u2019innovation sont r\u00e9ellement mis en place dans une entreprise industrielle, B2B, et encore moins l\u2019innovation guid\u00e9e par les utilisateurs\/clients. \u00c0 notre connaissance, les sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9s de l\u2019innovation dans les entreprises industrielles n\u2019ont pas fait l\u2019objet de nombreux travaux. L\u2019objectif de notre article est de d\u00e9finir les types d\u2019innovation qui sont r\u00e9ellement mis en place dans une entreprise industrielle. Nous proposons \u00e9galement un positionnement scientifique autour de l\u2019innovation.
