This study explores an alternative electrothermal regeneration approach, replacing conventional gas-fired fluidized-bed systems with a rotary kiln powered by electromagnetic induction heating. A two-phase experimental protocol was conducted, consisting of cold-state tracer tests to determine mean residence time, followed by hot-state experiments to assess thermal performance and energy consumption.
